In a controversial statement, the Bahraini Information minister Samira Rajab said that the Shiites do not form the majority in the country, “unlike what the media outlets circulate.”

Rajab added that what is going on in Bahrain aims at destabilizing the country.

The Bahraini regime minister accused Al-Manar TV of playing a central role in “distorting Bahraini’s real image” and threatened that the Union of the Arab States Broadcasts would sanction the channel in the future.
