Muscat, Dec. 23 (BNA): Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi lauded strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Oman and the leaderships’ keenness to further bolster them. He was speaking at a meeting with his Omani counterpart Dr. Abdul Monem bin Mansour bin Said Al-Hasni, as part of his current visit to Oman.

Both ministers discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the media field and the prospects of media coordination between the GCC countries.

Al-Hammadi underscored the key role of the media in strengthening the Bahraini-Omani relations and highlighting deep-rooted fraternal ties binding both countries.

On his part, Dr. Abdul Monem welcomed the visit of the Information and Parliament Affairs Minister to Oman, stressing the importance of promoting bilateral relations and exchanging experiences mainly in the media field.

The meeting was attended by Omani Information Ministry Undersecretary Ali bin Khalfan Al-Jaberi, News Agency Director General Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Arimi and Bahrain News Agency (BNA) Acting Director General Mohannad Suleiman Al-Nuaimi.
