Cairo, November 18th (BNA) –Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt, and the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate, which was held this morning at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Cairo.

Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt expressed his sincere congratulations to Pope Twadharos the second, on the occasion of his inauguration, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Episcopate, in Egypt and overseas, expressing the confidence in his wisdom and courage to complete the march, which was led by the late Pope Shenouda III.

Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt also highlighted the need for the Pope to establish the noble values of the Coptic Church, and to promote mutual respect between religions, and the optimum values for the humanitarian community to achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the world in security, stability and prosperity, wishing him all success and good health.
