Manama, November 1st (BNA) –The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Humoud Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said that the strong relations bonding the two kingdoms were a model to be emulated in bilateral ties.
In a press statement published today by Al Riyadh daily on the occasion of the new Hijri year, Shaikh Humoud said that the strong relations between the two countries had deep brotherly roots alongside kinship.

Shaikh Humoud added that outstandingly close relations were the outcome of the fruitful efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his brother HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing that the cooperation fields would be remain open at at all levels.

The Ambassador also expressed the appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the official and popular levels of the noble stances and continuous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense HRH Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

Shaikh Humoud expressed his appreciation for the Second Deputy Premier, the Personal Representative, the Special Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH Prince Meqrin Bin Abdul Aziz.

Shaikh Humoud offered congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the new Hijri Year, asking Almighty Allah to bestow good health upon the Saudi Monarch and further progress and prosperity on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Shaikh Humoud stressed that the wise policy of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is characterized by balance and firmness, as well as accommodating the various developments in the region and the world.

He praised the international, important, effective and pioneering role of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing the achievements accomplished in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as “great and outstanding.”

Shaikh Humoud appreciated the big role played by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the two holy mosques and its keenness to develop them and facilitate the performance of Hajj.

At the international level, Shaikh Humoud said that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spared no efforts in bearing great responsibilities in performing its effective role, highlighting the continuous Saudi warnings of the absence of justice in the human community and its rejections of double standards in addressing the Arab and Islamic issues.

Shaikh Humoud emphasised the Saudi rejection of the behaviours of the powerful countries in the United Nations and Security Council that resulted in turning down by Riyadh of the non-permanent membership at the Security Council.

Shaikh Humoud said that the new Hijri year was a great occasion for all Muslim countries, highlighting the values of tolerance, justice and high morals in Islam.
