Geneva, Mar 13 (BNA) – President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), Dr Abdul-Aziz Hassan Abul, led the Bahrain’s human rights delegation at the meeting of National Institutions and Local Mechanisms of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights that was held today in Geneva.

Bahrain’s delegation also included NIHR’s Sec-Gen Advisor Dr. Ahmed Abdulla Farhan and NIHR’s Director of Legal Affairs, Yasser Shahin.

Head of National Institutions and Local Mechanisms of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Faladen Stefanov, spoke about his Department’s role in providing support and assistance and Head of UNDP Development Policies Office, Shireen Saeed, spoke about supporting the emerging institutions
