Al Mulla said the maintaining of Bahrain’s security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents should be above all other considerations and as everybody knows the maintaining of security and peace is the core to achieve economic development and growth, hence the people’s welfare and prosperity.

The speaker headed the Bahraini parliamentary delegation to the Fourth World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments meeting in the United Nations headquarter. In his speech before the speakers of world parliaments, Al Mulla said Bahrain affirms the importance of mustering collective international efforts to confront global terrorism to ensure world peace, security and development. He said terrorism does not respect any religions or geographic boundaries.

He cited Bahrain’s measures and regulations to protect the society from this plague of terrorism in addition to the Kingdom’s participation in the international alliance against “Daesh” terroristic group and the Kingdom’s participation in the Saudi-led Arab coalition supporting Yemen’s legitimate government to restore security and stability in that Arab country.
