Bahrain’s uncompromising security, stability highlighted

Manama, Jan 7 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, during meeting with a group of citizens at the Majlis of Ahmed Al-Amer in Isa Town, stressed that respect for the sovereignty of states can only be achieved by attaining national security and stability.

Southern Governor welcomed the decision of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia on severing diplomatic ties with Iran which stems from their resolve to maintain security and stability in the region.

He noted Iran’s blatant interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain and other Gulf countries, which is a violation of international and diplomatic norms.

He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, will remain fortified against vicious plots target destabilizing the homeland.

He praised the efforts of the Bahraini security forces in foiling terrorist operations of the Iranian-backed terrorist groups.

The citizens who were present at the Majlis affirmed their full support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia to counter the continuing encroachments and violations.
