Manama, Nov 12 (BNA): Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs’ Minister Nabeela Makram Abdulshaheed has hailed Bahrain’s welcome to the Egyptian community in Bahrain.

In a press conference, in the presence of the Advisor to Egyptian Premier for Security and Electoral Affairs Maj-Gen Rifa’t Kumsaan, the minister explained that her visit aims to urge the Egyptian community abroad to participate in the parliamentary electoral process.

The minister told Bahrain News Agency that the Egyptian community’s participation in the electoral process has been very encouraging. She commended the decision on reactivating the immigration ministry taken by the Egyptian President Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi.

She said that the tours made by the ministry’s officials accentuate keenness to communicate and re-building trust with Egyptian communities living abroad in various countries.
