Bangladeshi dies in Manama road accident

A Bangladesh national has been killed in a fatal road crash in the Gulf state of Bahrain. Sources at a hospital at Manama, the capital of Bahrain, identified the deceased as Mohsin Miah, 44, son of Md Abdul Hamid. He was appointed as a cleaner at a Manama firm by a foreign company recently. Hospital sources said Mohsin was cleaning a road on Tuesday morning at Manama in front of the firm he had been employed with recently. All on a sudden, an unidentified vehicle ran over him around 7:30am (local time), leaving him critically injured. He was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital which pronounced him dead on arrival. When contacted, Bangladesh Embassy officials said they heard about the incident and taking step to contact the firm which employed Mohsin, according to private TV channels.
