At the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona
Manama, Bahrain: Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla met with Ericsson Head of Middle East Region Anders Lindblad to extend Batelco’s appreciation to Ericsson for their support to Batelco, which enabled Batelco to be first in the Kingdom of Bahrain to deliver 4G LTE for its customers. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading telecommunications company announced the launch of superfast 4G LTE for its customers on Wednesday 27th February, the first telecom to launch the much awaited service in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla said that Batelco was proud and delighted to be first to offer real 4G LTE in Bahrain to enhance the country’s global position in terms of providing advanced telecommunications services for consumers and businesses.
“We extend our great appreciation to Ericsson for their invaluable contribution to Batelco in delivering 4G/LTE. The launch marks a new milestone in the long term relationship that Batelco and Ericsson have enjoyed over many years.”
