Manama-Nov-19(BNA)Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Dr. Essam Abdulla Fakhro today received Philippines President’s Special Envoy to the GCC Dr. Amable Aguiluz and stressed the necessity to activate the joint business council and boost the volume of bilateral trade exchanges.

He also pointed out the need to promote joint ventures, explore new investment opportunities and bolster cooperation in the sectors of agriculture, food industries, tourism and light industries.
Dr. Aguiluz underscored the importance of the private sector in bolstering bilateral economic cooperation.
The meeting was attended by BCCI first deputy chairman Ibrahim Mohammed Ali Zainal, treasurer and acting Chief Executive Officer Othman Mohammed Sharif Al-Rayyes and other board members. AHN
