BCCI delegation visits India

Manama, Oct. 4 (BNA): Subsequent to the FICCI joint business council meeting, the Executive Committee Member of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khaled Al Amin held a press conference in New Delhi on the First Annual Global Employers’ Summit, which will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The Summit, which is organised by the BCCI and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), will take place on October 6-7 in Manama and will discuss the business environment in the region, the movement of workers, global youth unemployment, and the role of the financial sector among other topics.

Khaled Alamin expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for supporting the Summit, and seized the opportunity of heading BCCI’s delegation to India to highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to sustainable economic development under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Speaking about the importance of the Summit, Alamin emphasized the important role undertaken by such events in promoting Bahrain’s business standing and investment opportunities.

“The event, which will attract professionals from around the globe, constitutes an invaluable opportunity to exhibit the achievements of Bahrain and its unique economy and business friendly environment; we urge local Indian companies and business owners to take part in this event and exploit the opportunities this event is to bring about,” he said. He added the Summit will feature a number of prominent speakers, including senior officials from widely respected international organisations, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and World Trade Organization (WTO).
