Manama, June 7 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will organise, in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Women (SCW), a seminar entitled “The integration of women and equal opportunities.”

BCCI Board Member and Head of its side in the joint committee with SCW Shaikha Hind bint Salman al-Khalifa said that the seminar will shed light on integrating women’s needs in the development process within the framework of equal opportunities.

Shaikha Hind said that the seminar that will be conducted by the Director of the Women Support Centre at SCW Rana Ahmed Khalifa, aims to implement the integration of women’s needs in the development process, discuss Gender Responsive Budgeting statement and gain support for issues pertaining to the economic empowerment of women.

She lauded the Bahraini women’s successive achievements since the launch of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s reform project through holding leadership positions and entering the political and economic fields.

BCCI called on all those who are interested to attend and participate in the seminar.
