Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry(BCCI)’s Chairman. Khalid Al Moayed received H.E. Abdulredha Al Khoury Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Kingdom of Bahrain in his office in Bait Al Tijjar.
Both sides to the meeting hailed the strong bond between the two brotherly countries in all aspects, and the keenness of both governments to further all sorts of cooperation.
Confirming the participation of the Bahrain Chamber in the 17th Conference for Arab Businessmen and Investors to be held in Abu Dhabi, Al Moayed on Tuesday pointed that the visit constitutes an opportunity to activate and invigorate the functions of the Bahraini-UAE Joint Business Council and hold a meeting to mull investment and trade opportunities and the prospect of joint projects.
Al Moayed also called to enhance the trade volume, which amounted until September 2015 to US$ 140 million according to Bahrain Central Informatics Organization (CIO).
Lauding the Chamber’s role in emphasizing business opportunities, Ambassador Al Khoury asserted the UAE embassy’s keenness and readiness to extend all help and support to enhance the vigor of cooperation between both brotherly countries and facilitate the venture of business people and traders of both countries.
