Manama, Feb. 10 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dhiab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi chaired here today a meeting Joint Defence and Security Committee.

Ways to enahnce cooperation and coordination between the military and security bodies were discussed in order to promote mutual military abilities, consolidate foundations of security and stability and safeguard the Kingdom’s gains and the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

The BDF chief of staff affirmed BDF’s keenness on carrying out all the tasks assigned to it and performing its patriotic role at defending Bahrain and protecting its security, in cooperation with the military and security bodies, Public Security and National Guard.

Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Hassan Al Hassan, National Guard Staff Director Major-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF) Commodore Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operation Brigadier-General Ghanim Ebrahim Al-Fadhala and a number of senior officers and officials.
