BDF Commander-in-Chief inspects BDF units

Manama, Jun 12 (BNA) – Bahrain Defence Force (BDF)’s Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid a visit to a number of BDF units to inspect their military readiness.

BDF Commander-in-Chief was briefed on a number of modern systems and mechanisms followed by those units, as well as their development, preparation and training programs.

He highlighted directives and interest of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in respect of providing all BDF military units with various modern weapons.

He affirmed that BDF Command always seeks meeting practical leadership and scientific quality.

He underscored BDF’s keenness to continuously upgrade readiness and training plans to keep pace with the significant progress takes place in the combat weapons systems and military equipment. In addition to equipping all BDF units with the latest technology to achieve the desired objectives.

He highly praised BDF staff in bearing national responsibilities for defending the homeland.
