Manama, May 20 (BNA): BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit today to a BDF unit where he got updated on its military readiness and listened to a briefing by its Commander on its work as well as preparation and training programmes.

He stressed keenness to equip the BDF units with cutting-edge military systems, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He lauded the good results achieved by the units in various missions assigned with them, praising readiness of all affiliates and their constant high morale.

He urged to exert every effort to serve Bahrain, wishing the BDF personnel every success in fulfilling their sacred duties and protecting hard-won national gains.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief was accompanied during the visit by Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations Brigadier Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fadhala and senior officers.
