BDF Commander-in-Chief meets Commander of the US Central Command

Manama, May. 15. (BNA) – Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) the Commander of the US
Central Command General Lloyd Austin and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.


The BDF Commander-in-Chief reviewed with Gen. Lloyd Austin the joint Bahraini-US military cooperation and coordination, lauding the solid ties bonding the two friendly countries.

He wished bilateral relations further progress.

Issues of mutual concern were also discussed.

Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, the US Ambassador to Bahrain Thomas Krajeski, Director of the BDF’s General Headquarters’ Court Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Al-Jalahma, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Director of Planning, Organisation and Technology Rear Admiral Youssef Ahmed Malallah, Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and US 5th Fleet Vice-Admiral John Miller and the Military Attaché at the US Embassy here Colonel Scott W. Rizer were also present.
