Manama, Oct. 11. (BNA) — The Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI)’s Follow Up Unit launched this morning its new website (www.biciunit.bh).
On this occasion, Ms. Dana Al-Zayani, Head of the BICI Follow Up Unit, Assistant Undersecretary for Statistics, Planning and Communication at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf, stated that the website with its new design and updated content is now accessible online providing the latest news on the Unit’s activities.
Ms. Al-Zayani pointed out that “the website enables visitors to gain access to information and periodic reports published by the Unit, updates on the implementation of BICI recommendations, as well as the Unit’s press releases”.
She added that “as part of the follow up of all recommendations, professionally and with total transparency and integrity, the website is planned to serve as a link between the Unit and all relevant ministries and government bodies, and to keep public opinion abreast of the progress of phased implementation of BICI recommendations, allowing citizens to follow up and stay informed of all processes as they are carried out”.
Ms. Al-Zayani invited citizens to visit this website, give suggestions and feedback and benefit from the information and content posted on it. She pledged that “the website will be constantly developed and updated to ensure the provision of quality services, and we hope that this effort will best serve citizens and site visitors”.
