BIPA organizes workshop on government entrepreneurship

Manama, June 26 (BNA) — Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) organized a workshop themed (leadership for creating a transformational government) within the work of the (2013 UN Public Service Forum) being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the presence of representatives of the GCC and other world countries, during which, speakers tackled mechanisms of creating an appropriate environment for government entrepreneurship and economic development through innovation and e-government.


The workshop aims to establish a common understanding for the government transformational leadership, and work to develop it in accordance with the related concepts and strategies, as well as linking between the government successful strategies to enact the central and local transformational government, in addition to review related challenges and steps required towards activating the strategies.

BIPA Director General, Dr. Raed bin Shams stressed the workshop is an appropriate opportunity to exchange experiences and see the style of administration and compare to different styles and cultures that contribute to help countries building their capacities to meet the challenges in this regard.
