Manama, Feb 25 (BNA) – Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) today organized a seminar themed (The electoral process in the Kingdom of Bahrain), within the BIPD quest to disseminate political culture in the community through providing training and awareness programs to raise the level of engagement with the political process in the country.
Member of National Institution for Human Right and member of GCC Advisory Board, Lawyer Farid Ghazi, underscored the importance of citizen’s participation in social work to improve the Parliament members’ efficiency level.
He stressed the candidates must enjoy a high level of awareness to cope with future political and economic challenges.
University of Bahrain’s Sociology professor, Dr. Baqir Al-Najaar, underlined the impact of social media on community members and the political and economic awareness to achieve a successful political participation, emphasizing the role of political, social and cultural institutions for the success of the political process in Bahrain.
