BJA Chairman to be honoured in Kuwait

Kuwait, Apr.25(BNA): Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) Chairman Moaness Al-Mardi has today been named among other media figures on the sidelines of the 12th edition of the Arab Media Forum.
Arab Media Forum Secretary-General Madhi Al-Khamis announced the list of personalities who will be honoured of their dedicated efforts to serve the pan-Arab media.

The pan-Arab media symposium will open officially tomorrow (April 26) under the patronage of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the eve of the event, Al-Khamis said that the symposium would be held under the theme “Social Media and Telecommunications Networks”.

The forum will be attended by Arab ministers of information affairs, senior officials representing the Arab media and press institutions, thinkers, academic figures, experts and specialists.

Apart from BJA Chairman Moaness Al-Mardi, the forum will also honour Kuwaiti media figure Khalid Al-Herban, Kuwaiti Al-Anba’a newspaper, Saudi Khalid Al-Malik, UAE online newspaper24, Kuwaiti writer Heba Mashari Hamada and Tunisian Salaheddine Maaoui.
