BJA President Takes Part In IFJ Conference

Dublin, June 7 (BNA)— President of Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) Mones Mahmood Al-Mordi took part in the 28th International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
IFJ President Jim Boumelha was re-elected for a new term after narrowly beating Belgian counterpart Phillipe Leruth in a vote at the IFJ’s world congress held in Dublin.

Boumelha polled 185 votes to Leruth of the Association Generale des Journalists Professionels de Belgique’s 176. Meanwhile, President of the Union of Moroccan Journalists was voted Vice President.

Al-Mordi congratulated them wishing them every success.
