BMAA’s Chairman congratulates AFC’s President

Manama, March 1 – (BNA): The Bahrain Martial Arts Association (BMAA)’s Chairman Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat has submitted utmost congratulations and felicitations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister upon the re-election of Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa as president of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).


He hailed the support from the Kingdom’s leadership and government which contributed to the advancement of Bahraini sports leaders and their attainment of leading positions in the sports arena.

Al Khayyat said that the uncontested re-election of Shaikh Salman Al Khalifa for a second term as the AFC’s president and vice president of the International Football Confederation representing Asia continent indicative of his implementation of his previous election programme under the slogan “Asia United” which received the appreciation of Asian countries upon his re-election as president of the largest continental confederation for the next four years.

Al Khayyat on behalf of the BMAA’s members has submitted utmost congratulations and blessing to Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa on this dear occasion which affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s having great administrative efficacies who capable of assuming leading positions in the world, especially in the most popular sport that is football.
