BAHRAIN Olympic Committee general secretary Abdulrahman Askar praised Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) for successfully organising the first GCC Clubs 3on3 Basketball Championship which concluded in Bahrain on Saturday.

Askar was the chief guest of the final, after which he presented trophies and medals to winners Al Rayyan and their compatriots Al Sadd, whom they beat 22-16 in the final.

Manama Club won bronze medals beating Oman’s Nazwa 21-16 in the third and fourth place match.

Following the awarding ceremony, Askar congratulated BBA president Adel Al Assomi on the success of the tournament. Askar also commended the organising committee members and their efforts in making this event a huge success.
