Athens , Jun 23 (BNA) – Director of the International Relations of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), Fajir Jassim, yesterday participated in the 54th International Session for Young Participants of the International Olympic Academy (IOA) held at ancient Olympia, Athens, Greece, in the presence of IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach.

President Karolos Papoulias of Greece opened the session and prominent figures addressed the event, including President of the International Olympic Academy, President of International Olympic Committee, President of Greek Olympic Committee and Greek Minister of Culture and Sports.

The event has attracted 200 participants from 96 countries, including 27 coordinators and 13 Olympic lecturers who tackled the theme of (Olympic values).

The event’s programme includes educational trips to archeological sites.

The event witnessed presenting the First Lady of Azerbaijan with IOC honorary certificates.
