Manama, Sep 22 (BNA) — local sports community hailed the directives of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), in respect to expanding the participation in the Management of Sports Federations Diploma, organized by the Sports Training and Development Department in collaboration with the World Sports Academy.
Director of Physical Education, Scouts and Girl Guides, Dr. Shaikha Al-Jeeb, affirmed this move helps raising the scientific level of physical education teachers and provides them with managerial expertise and skills that qualify them to lead sports federations and clubs, and praised the directives of the Olympic Committee that aim to rehabilitate and develop sports cadres on sound scientific basis.
Military Sports Federation Secretary Dawood Al-Maana stressed a wide range of athletes, including employees of the Military Sports Federation, will benefit from the directives of the Olympic Committee.
the Management of Sports Federations program will actively contribute to development sports national cadres capable of assuming leading administrative positions, and asserted his federation’s keenness to participate in all development courses, he added.
Public Security Sports Federation Chairman Khalid Al-Khayat praised the step of the Olympic Committee, in this regard, and confirmed his federation’s participation to raise the sports cadres’ scientific level and to receive the administrative development.
Ahli Club Secretary Ahmed Al-Alawi commended this move and pointed out the clubs are in need for such scientific programs that contribute to the creation of a set of national qualified cadre in the field of sports management.
He emphasized Bahraini youth known for acquiring knowledge and seek to develop their abilities, the adoption of such practical programs in the field of sports significantly contributes to push the movement of sports and youth towards new horizons of development and growth.
