Bahrain Polytechnic (BP), in cooperation with Think Smart Institute, has launched an advanced course in network engineering which is attended by a total of 15 IT students from various levels.
At the end of the course, students will receive Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) certificate that qualifies them for several jobs opportunities like system administrator, system engineer, network analyst, technical consultant and others, said a statement from BP.
This course came as a result of a cooperation agreement which was recently signed between the two sides and under which the Information Technology Academy was set up.
The academy aims at providing college students with a variety of IT professional certificates demanded by the Bahraini and regional labour markets, in addition to private lessons that are pre-requisites for global professional certification, it said.
Feras Al-Saadi, business development manager, Think Smart, said that providing students with the MCSA certificate came so as to cater to most Bahraini government and private institutions requirements for qualified cadres that are able to provide high-level solutions using Microsoft products.
“During the course, students will follow professional training methods that lead to a rapid development, especially that the course was designed for managers of small networks and directors of the various information systems,” he said.
“All exams test the capabilities and skills of network management among individuals, through which they can gain significant knowledge,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
