A Bahrain court sentenced a Briton to 10 years in prison and ordered his deportation from the Gulf Kingdom after he was convicted of selling drugs to a police undercover.
The 32-year-old man of Egyptian origin was arrested just after he gave 100gm of hashish to the cop posing as a customer for BD100 (Dh1,000).
Police searching his house in the capital Manama found more hashish and a small balance, a scissors and a ruler he used in drug dealing.
“He told court that he has taken drugs for nearly 10 years but started to sell only two months ago,” the Arabic language daily ‘Al Wasat’ said.
