HUNDREDS of families attended a mega cultural programme to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bunts Bahrain at Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa.

It featured songs, dance, drama and a variety of other programmes to keep guests entertained.

Present were president Nagesh Shetty and other members with their families and invited guests.

A number of prominent members of the Bunts community from India were felicitated for their contribution to the community down the years.

Leading the overseas delegation was Shankar Shetty, president of Bunts Mumbai, and leading industrialist Jayaram Shetty, also from Mumbai.

Well-known psychiatrist Dr Harish Shetty and leading author and editor of Sampige magazine Mr Bhaskar Rao Kukkuvalli took part in the event.

Bunts Bahrain was formed 10 years ago to serve people of their community in Bahrain. Since then it has grown and is today a prominent social organisation conducting various charity and cultural programmes.
