Burnout to bring fun, excitement Friday to BIC

Manama, July22 (BNA): Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, will be hosting an additional round of burnout on Friday (July 24, 2015) in Sakhir. Drivers from all over the Gulf are expected to flock to BIC to be a part of this hugely popular event, which is being organised for the fifth time this year. Four immensely successful rounds took place during the holy month of Ramadan, but due to popular demand, BIC has put together another exciting evening of high-octane entertainment.


Action on Friday will be held from 6pm until 11pm at BIC car park number five. Interested participants may register from 4pm onwards at car parks one and two. Entrants must meet specific eligibility criteria to take part and pay an entry fee of BD7 per driver. Those wishing to get a taste of all of the action as passengers may do so for a fee of BD4.

Spectators will be able to watch all the action free of charge, however, there will also be a VIP area from where fans can enjoy all the action from a special grandstand. Entrance to the VIP area parking is BD10 per car. The Burnout event is open to motorsport enthusiasts of all skill levels. It offers a unique kind of thrill including the sight of rapidly rising white smoke and the smell of burning rubber. Participants will take to the tarmac with the aim of putting on their finest display of burnout while gracefully maneuvering a pre-determined course.
