CBB’s weekly Treasury Bills oversubscribed by 109%

Manama, Sept. 15 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that this week’s BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 109%.

The bills, carrying a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The issue date of the bills is 16th September 2015 and the maturity date is 16th December 2015.

The weighted average rate of interest is 1.41%, compared to 1.38%, for the previous issue on 09th September 2015.

The approximate average price for the issue was 99.646% with the lowest accepted price being 99.623%.

This is issue No. 1565 (ISIN BH000Q1E2820) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BD 1.660 billion.
