On a pleasantly warm and calm day for the time of year we ventured to Vistabella for our weekly stableford competition.
The course was in its usual excellent condition although the greens were suffering from lack of pitch mark repair and a lot of heavy spike marks around the flag. If only our fellow golfers would repair their marks! Perhaps the greens were the reason our scores were down on the day with the following results:
Nearest the pin on hole 4 was Roy Welburn Nearest the pin on hole 8 and the par 4 10th in 2 was Tommy Clarke Longest Drive on hole 18 was Roy Welburn Winner with 35 points was John Winkley congratulations on a great turnaround after last weeks score Runner up with 29 points was Charlie Rodgers Next Week we have our Christmas Meeting at Las Ramblas meet at the bar at 08:00 for breakfast. Don’t forget its our annual Dinner and Presentation in the evening at Clarkes Bar starting at 19:00.
