Cluttons to manage Janabiya tower lease

Manama: Apartments at a new residential building in Janabiya are ready to let on a long-lease basis, it was announced yesterday.

Real estate consultancy Cluttons said it has been appointed to manage leasing of the Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort and Spa Residences offering 100 fully-furnished studio, one, two and three bedroom “luxury” apartments.

The project is owned by a private investment company and the cost of the project was not disclosed.

It is part of the Lagoona Beach Luxury Resort Spa, which is due to open in the last quarter this year.

Tenants will have access to services at the adjacent five-star hotel.

Cluttons head of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Harry Goodson-Wickes said residents would enjoy access to the hotel’s dining destinations and leisure facilities, including the gym, four swimming pools (one indoor), mixed and ladies spas, water sports activities, squash and tennis courts, plus access to a beach island.

“Residents will also benefit from round-the-clock security and concierge service, twice-weekly house-keeping, Internet and satellite TV.”

According to Mr Goodson-Wickes, beach access in Bahrain is extremely rare, and with a “high spec design, we expect the development to be in high demand, particularly as tenants continue to hone in on high quality schemes that offer community living, which is rising in popularity, particularly amongst the expatriate population.”

Rentals start from BD500 per month and go up to BD1,200.
