Her designs have been rocked by various celebrities and socialites such as Beyonce, Michelle Obama, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston and Alicia Keys. We caught up with the designer after she recently spoke on the Visionaire panel in Bahrain entitled “Success Stories.” Check out our exclusive interview with Maggie below.
What was the experience like speaking at the Visionaries Panel Bahrain?
It is always important to mentor the next generation of Artists and Designers. I was invited by Visionaries an NGO whose Mission is to share International Culture with the Youth of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Panel included Carlos Zappa, International Architect and Benjamin Shine, International Artist. There was a question and answer segment monitored by Visionaries CEO, Sh. Khalifa bin Khalid Al Khalifa, a member of the Royal Family. Afterwards there many questions from the audience about how to succeed in their fields. The experience was uplifting and fulfilling to be able to share our thoughts to help them achieve their dreams.
What was something you learned from the experience and something you feel guests gained by hearing your talk?
To always give back and guide young artists to follow their dream.
Couture Corsets are a work of Art. They are very Architectural in their Design. It requires patterning and fitting, flat and spiral steel boning and interlining. Beautiful fabric or embellished embroidery. The corset 3 months to create depending on fabric
The Beautiful Message for me is to follow your Dream. We are so Blessed That we have the Freedom to achieve this in America. Caitlyn Jenner has Achieved Her Dream. How Appreciate for the Legendary Annie Leibovitz to capture this Beautiful Moment for Vanity Fair.
