Manama, Jan.7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency William Roebuck, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of continuing to support all efforts to protect the region’s security and stability, and stressed that the continued efforts are underpinned by the commitment of Bahrain and the international community to foster peace, stability, and mutual respect between all countries.

His Royal Highness and His Excellency the US Ambassador then discussed bilateral relations between Bahrain and the US, including ways to build on the countries’ strategic and longstanding ties. Other issues of shared interests, as well as on-going efforts to combat extremist ideologies were also discussed during the meeting..
