Crown Prince meets President of Egypt

Kuwait, Nov. 19 (BNA)– His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met Egyptian President Adly Mansoor on the sidelines of the Third Arab African Summit, hosted at Bayan Palace in Kuwait between 19 and 20 November.

His Royal Highness affirmed Bahrain’s full support for the efforts of President Mansoor to implement the Road Map spearheaded by the interim government to ensure security and stability in Egypt, and to meet the aspirations of its people.

His Royal Highness emphasised that Bahrain and other GCC countries are looking forward to the consolidation of security and stability in Egypt, a country with a prominent and vital role in the region.

His Royal Highness praised Bahraini-Egyptian relations, which have been strengthened by the steadily growing joint cooperation and exchange of diplomatic visits.

For his part, President Mansoor praised Bahrain’s support Egypt’s security and the measures it has taken in this regard.

President Mansoor also requested that His Royal Highness convey his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad and wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness and President Mansoor discussed areas of joint cooperation between Egypt and Bahrain across economic, trade and investment areas, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in region and the issues discussed at the third Arab-African Summit.
