Manama, Oct.13 (BNA): His Royal Highnes Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the Senior Vice President of Italian energy company ENI, Lapo Pistelli, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised that a key priority under the Kingdom’s programme of sustainable economic development is continued national investment in key infrastructure projects across manufacturing and energy sectors over the coming years. His Royal Highness then highlighted that this investment will work to both increase employment opportunities in the Kingdom and improve private sector participation in Bahrain’s economy.

His Royal Highness highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to further expanding the Kingdom’s trade ties with Italy, and strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including manufacturing and industrial development.

In response, Mr. Pistelli expressed his gratitude for meeting with His Royal Highness, and highlighted His Royal Highness’s continued support to enhancing trade ties between the two countries.
