Culture Ministry signs cooperation agreement with Olery Tourism Management …

Manama, Feb 9 (BNA) — In unprecedented step taken in the Middle East, the Ministry of Culture – Tourism Sector has signed a cooperation agreement with Olery Tourism Management Company on collecting and analyzing data found across social networking sites on tourists’ satisfaction level in Bahrain’s tourism services.

Culture Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Tourism, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, represented Culture Ministry and CEO Kim van den Wijngaard represented Olery Company at the signing ceremony.

Tourism Assistant Undersecretary stressed keenness to continuously develop tourism services presented in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing out the agreement aims to raise the quality of tourism services domestically and to boost tourism in Bahrain internationally.

He explained the assessment level of tourism services presented in Bahrain during the months of December and January reached 73% , and confirmed next target is to reach 85%.

The Olery Company, according to the contract, to submit periodic reports to the Tourism Sector’s management contain tourists’ comments on tourism services provided by Bahraini hotels and restaurants.
