Deputy King receives Indian Ambassador

Manama: March 27—(BNA)– His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy of His Majesty the King, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met His Excellency Dr. Mohan Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Sakhir Palace.


His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for India’s interest in developing relations with Bahrain and noted the extensive efforts by both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India to boost and facilitate bilateral investments, and create further bilateral cooperation opportunities.

His Royal Highness further expressed his appreciation to the Indian community in Bahrain for its contribution to the Kingdom’s economy.

His Royal Highness noted the extremely warm welcome received by the delegation throughout his working visit to India earlier this month, during which he highlighted the rich cultural identity of the state of Kerala and reinforced the strong ties between the two countries.

His Excellency Dr. Mohan Kumar conveyed the appreciation of the government of India for His Royal Highness’ successful visit to Kerala and thanked His Royal Highness for his noble feelings towards the people of India, representing the strength of relations between the two nations.
