Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA).
DERASAT’s board of trustees chairman, Khalid Ebrahim Al Fadhala, and IDSA’s director-general Jayant Prasad signed the agreement.
Al Fadhala said the agreement signing emanates from the principle of cooperation between specialised international institutions to achieve the strategic goals of DERASAT in terms of exchange of expertise and information with its regional and international counterparts.
The Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi, India is an autonomous body to conduct study and research on problems of national security and the impact of defence measures on the economic, security and social life of the country.
