DERASAT to Organise a Seminar on Human Rights in Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 5. (BNA) – Advisor to His Majesty the King for Diplomatic Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic and International Studies and Energy (DERASAT) Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar said that DERASAT will organize on December 10 a seminar themed: “Human Rights in Bahrain … Achievements and Ambitions: a Present and Future Outlook”.
The event will be attended by participants from the kingdom’s social, political and human rights spectra.

December 10 marks the UN Human Rights Day, observed annually to commemorate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1948.
