Manama, Oct. 11. (BNA) – Head of His Royal Highness Premier’s Court Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received here today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Essam Saleh Awad.

During the meeting, Shaikh Hussam welcomed the new envoy, wishing him every success in his diplomatic duties and a happy stay in the kingdom.

He also lauded the distinguished relations bonding the leaderships and peoples of Bahrain and Egypt, pledging that the kingdom will continue developing its ties with brotherly Egypt in all fields.

On his part, Ambassador Essam Saleh Awad expressed his country’s keen interest to boost its ties with the kingdom, praising the steady growth of joint cooperation.
