Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–October 14, 2012. The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Cmdr. Joel Del Mundo Tiu, 49, of Manila, Philippines died Oct. 12 as a result of non-combat related injuries. He was assigned to Logistics Forces, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Manama, Bahrain.
