I refer to the report ‘Rejected sheep ‘certified disease-free by UK laboratory”(GDN, October 15).

I don’t believe any statement coming out from Bahrain Livestock Company nor do I believe the British laboratory report.

I believe and trust Bahrain’s original report that those animals were sick and not fit for human consumption.

Let’s talk about the British laboratory report. The British have a very bad reputation in investigating the truth. Below are a few examples:

* Investigation into the Hillsborough disaster has been opened after about 20 years.

* Investigation into Jimmy Savile and Allen Freeman sexually abusing young girls has been opened after 40 years.

* One scientist who said WMDs in Iraq were sexed up, committed suicide.

* They found a man’s body next to the Queen’s palace three years after his death. Apparently he was writing sexy letters to her.

* The Daily Mirror was fined for reporting abuse by British troops in Iraq. Later it was found to be true.

I can go on adding cover-up news by the British. All these make the result of the laboratory and its Pakistani counterpart irrelevant.
I trust Bahrain’s test results.
