The campaign, titled “See You in Bahrain”, is consistent with EDB’s marketing strategy to showcase Bahrain as a destination that attracts regional and international companies and as a hub for financial and investment services, while supporting the Ministry of Culture in reassuring Bahrain’s position as a preferred destination for entertainment and family tourism for GCC nationals through TV, newspapers, and magazines advertisements, said EDB in a media statement.
The campaign follows a decade of economic reform which places the Kingdom well on the way to achieving the vision of raising the living standards of citizens while combining a strong regional identity with the highest international business standards.
On launching the “See You in Bahrain” campaign, H.E. Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of the EDB said, “This campaign falls in line with the policy the Government has adopted in its institutes to provide all the possible facilities to corporations, and in particular from the GCC, to set up their investment in Bahrain and make the most of the benefits provided to them. The campaign also aims to attract families to the festivals, events and different means of entertainment provided in the Kingdom throughout the year.”
Rima Al-Kilani, Director of Global Marketing in the EDB, added, “We have dedicated our efforts recently to continuously reach out and stay in touch with our target audience and increase awareness on the lifestyle and economic privileges the Kingdom provides. We will further aim through the new promotional and marketing campaigns to enhance this image regionally and introduce our audience to more benefits and privileges the Kingdom provides in terms of Tourism and Entertainment. The campaign launches today on regional TV channels, newspapers and magazines.”
