He highlighted the key achievements for 2013, citing particularly the launch of the new online complaints and suggestion system (Tawasul), which will allow citizens and residents to share feedback on the quality of government service as well as submit complaints.

The e-GA has also launched the pilot phase of Bahrain’s Business Licensing Integrated System (BLIS) through which business registry will be handled as a one-stop service. It has also started implementing “Zajel” service, an online system aimed at easing correspondence between the ministries and other national entities. The cyber scheme has been coordinated with the Cabinet General Secretariat.
