Manama, Oct 14 (BNA) – Chairman of Legislation and Legal Opinion also Executive Director of 2014 parliamentary and municipal elections, Advisor Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Buainain, today highlighted keenness to ensure smooth flow of the electoral process in all its stages, especially in regard to receiving candidates’ requests for the upcoming municipal and parliamentary elections.
Al-Buainain this evening carried out an inspection visit to the supervisory committees distributed across Bahrain’s four governorates to closely inspect their preparations for receiving the candidates’ requests tomorrow.

He said that the supervisory committees have been provided with the necessary logistics, technical and administrative requirement, as well as information technology equipment. He added that the supervisory committees’ are run by directors of accumulative expertise, some of them have witnessed the electoral process since its inception in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2002.

He had earlier announced in press statements that nomination requests for the parliamentary and municipal elections will be received for a period of five days starting from Wednesday 15 October until Sunday 19 of the same.
