The mega-popular pop-rock band Elefante will take the stage at 9 p.m. tonight, at Opera Teatro Bar in downtown McAllen.
The Latin rock quintet soared to stardom with hits like “As Es la Vida” and “Mariposa Traicionera” in the early 2000s, and have made something of a comeback since their lead singer left to pursue a solo career.
With a new vocalist, Jorge Martínez, in place, the band has since been nominated for a Latin Grammy for “Best Pop Album,” and are currently touring the U.S.
Tickets for the show are $35, available at the door any day after 5 p.m. Table reservations are also available. To make a reservation, or get more information, call (956) 627-5285.
WHEN: 9 p.m. tonight
WHERE: Opera Teatro Bar, 1704 Chicago Ave., McAllen
