Manama, Jan. 31. (BNA) – Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza met here yesterday the President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi.

College of Engineering Dean Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al Ansari, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development Seminar Dr. Nader Mohammed Saleh Al Bastaki and Director of UoB’s Studies Centre Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdulla were also present.

The Minister appreciated the efforts exerted by UoB to improve the learning process, wishing it further success.

They discussed the necessary preparations for the Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development Seminar, organised by UoB’s Engineering College in coordination with NOGA and EWA on February 15-18, 2015 under the patronage of the Energy Minister.

UoB President thanked the Minister for the meeting, praising the support of EWA and NOGA to UoB’s programmes and functions.
